2- how far away everything seems to be.

Now you've got to understand. I am so used to having everything literally at the most ten minutes away from where we lived in Texas. There were things everywhere so close by to do them, you didn't get tired before you even got there! That's how I feel all the time about Rexburg. To get decent and better groceries, you need to travel to Idaho falls. To eat somewhere nice, Idaho falls. It takes 30+ minutes to go do something. I hate having to plan an hour just to go do something. It does not always make this momma or the kids very happy. Not to mention, there's like nothing to see out your window:( borrring
