WAY TOO EXCITED!!!

So we are officially in December now! Yeah!!! That means it is only two more weeks until we leave and make the long awaited trip to Texas for Christmas!!! I am wayyyyy too excited about everything!! Shopping, sightseeing, Christmas, bluebell.....but most of all SEEING FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!! That will be the best gift ever! Arthur and I have only two weeks left of school and it just does not seem like it is going fast enough!!! I just want it to be over!!! The girls are so excited too! They constantly think when we wake up in the morning that this will be THE day that we leave! Can't wait until that day because they will just squea I'm sure! It has been snowing a couple of times up here in Idaho, but the snow has never stayed very long. That is JUST fine with us! It makes driving mor bearable, but I am sure that when we come back there will be a lot of snow everywhere! The baby and I are still doing well. I am starting to have contraction pains and other pains associated with pregnancy but nothing severe I would hope. Just keeping an eye on myself! My current doctor did say if I had the baby in Texas, oh well! I was like hmm....really? I just don't think that would be great because that would mean the baby is only 30 weeks old, but who knows? It could always happen. The doctor did go over with me the danger of blood clots! He told me about a lady that had traveled to Arizona and developed blood clots in her legs. Well, she didn't know so when she came back to Idaho, she was getting really faint and tired. So they took her to the ER and found that her blood clots had flowed all the way to her lungs! Scary! They were wondering how she was even still alive and functioning. That really scared me so I will be sure and do everything I can to prevent them! Arthur and I have a nice list of what to do while in Texas so I am sure we will stay busy busy busy!!! Claudia, Aeris, Summer are doing well. They have their moments, but really are smart, mature angels! I love them all!! See you soon Texas!!

Give Thanks!!!!

Well, here I am trying to post to you while Arthur is in his last class before we let out for Thanksgiving break. I am already done. My chemistry class was canceled today. Yay!!! BTW, I do not know how to change our little Texan Potatoes title into that cute little circle so if anyone wants to help that would be swell!!! No pictures on this post. :( I promise to go and buy an SD card!!! Sorry Diana! No pic of me right now! :)
School--Arthur and I are doing well. Okay, let me rephrase that...Arthur is doing REALLY well and I am doing ok. I wish I could do better, but it is extremely hard with everything else we have going on. It will  be ok though. :) School on Claudia's part is wonderful. Claudia loves learning and going. She has many friends. She sometimes gets bored at school because she either knows what to do and understands the concepts, or it is because she rushes through her coloring and cutting things. They are starting to go over words. They call them their sight words which they are supposed to learn how to read and how to write. They each have a baggie that has about 8 words in it. At the beginning of the week, they add more words to it. This is really great except for one thing...Claudia is WAYYYY beyond that . I mean come on, the words are like: Dad, I , see, Mom...etc. You get it. Claudia just recited them over and over and writes them. I sure wish Idaho had kindergarterners go all day. Or even if they had a special program for them. Still, we do appreciate all that the teacher does for them. :) Aeris loves going to appletree (her daycare) and loves helping out everyone! The teacher always loves to tell us how Aeris does everything so well for her age. Aeris is writing and coloring and cutting and also doing well. She really is a great math person! She loves numbers and wants to continue to grow! We are working with her on reading now as well. We just are sad that she will not be starting kindergarten for another two years!!! But, we are definitely thinking about putting her in preschool or maybe even seeing if she could go to kindergarten. We shall see. Summer is a lovely happy toddler! She LOVES babies! She loves everyone! She loves blowing kisses,giving hugs, waving bye bye, saying uh oh!, and more! She thinks she can do absolutely everything her sisters can do,and  her sisters are right by her side wanting her to do the things they do. Sometimes, that can be dangerous though. Summer really does not like it when her sisters pick her up and carry her around. She wants to do things. She does love playing the game Hungry Hungry hippos. I think for christmas she might be getting the travel version of this game. :) Arthur and I love that we might not be here in Idaho for too much longer. Yay!!! We recently spent a LOT to get the van fixed and safe and ready for travel.We also had to buy new tires for the van. Oy Vei! Lots of money, but it will be worth going and seeing family for Christmas! We are going to be cooking for Thanksgiving! We do not have anyone coming over, but we are making a lot of food!!! We have three turkeys to fry!!! yay!!! Yummyness in our apartment that day! The girls are too excited to start making the rolls and pies and other things for that day. They love having us off of school. Our christmas tree is up right now. We just haven't put the decorations on it. :P I am sorry this is so random, but trying to type before Arthur gets out and we have to go and get the girls from daycare and take Claudia to school!!! :) It is always busy here in the DeJean household! I will try and write more and take pics and let you know how baby is doing!!! See ya!!!

Halloween Carnival

Here is a quick update! Sorry there is not more, even though we have had our happenings, but school and family just take up all my time!!:) Not  that I am complaining or anything.

So, tonight we had Claudia's first school carnival to go to. It was fantastic!!! We first had a dinner there--mm spaghetti! Then we got to go around to the different rooms and play all sorts of games. The girls had a lot of fun playing and winning prizes. Even Summer!! They absolutely loved it! We had a great time too! Although, when it was time to go, everyone knew it was TIME to GO! :)

And the awesomeness of the pumpkin I won!!! There were three pumpkins there for you to guess how much they weighed, and I actually won the middle one!!!! How fun is that!! Arthur had a fun time carrying that to the car. :) It weighs 38 lbs!!

So, there you have it! Our night tonight. And we would not have spent it any other way!!! Yay! so happy for the wonderful family moments that touch our lives.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Well, today was Claudia's first day of kindergarten!! It was so exciting! She has been waiting forever to be able to go and today was the big day! I think I was way more excited about it then she was. :)

And we leave. Our sweet big smart girl is here at kindergarten at last! She was very nervous once we got to the school, but calmed down and did really well. I loved that Arthur gave her a father's blessing the night before. I know that made her feel great. :) I only hope that she will be challenged enough. Our girl is doing so well with reading and writing and all the things. This kindergarten only lasts half a day which is not what we wanted. We love how in Texas they go for the full day. We can only see what the teacher will do with her. Sadly, on the district website it said "To address the concern of children who need above and beyond the curriculum, try going to these websites and have fun." I was like....are you kidding me? What is the point of going to these websites if she still will not be challenged in her own classroom? But, like I said, we will see what the teacher has in mind for students that need that extra challenge.

Too long!!!

Hello everybody!! My goodness time goes by so fast! I cannot believe that we are already in August!!! Really now you think I would get better at this, but you know I hate to say it, but it will not be getting any better anytime soon. Oh! And MY birthday is coming up!! I get to be 24!!! my favorite number!!! Jeff Gordon baby!!!

Here are some of the things that have been going on:
Arthur and I finished the spring semester at BYUI!!! Yay!!! Arthur got extremely great grades and I got grades that I am happy with. :) We are having a break with the summer and not going for seven weeks. School will start again in September though! and yes, both of us are going!!

Claudia's birthday was July 17th and she turned 5!!! She is getting soooo big!!! And yes, she will be starting school this september!! It is so much fun getting her school things ready! I think Arthur and I are more excited than her! lol

Arthur's birthday was July 21st! He turned 25! We had a lovely suprise party for him which was great!!! I love him and am so glad that he felt appreciated!

Yes, I know this isn't an invitation to our suprise party, but it was cute!!



Our friends the Wylers moved back to Texas for four months. It was sad to see them go, but it does make me happy knowing that they will be back!! We really truly have been blessed to make awesome friends!

On another note.......... I AM EXPECTING!!!!!! :)
We are due on February 25th. and yes.....you do not need to ask......We are hoping for a boy!!

Billie came up and visited us this past week! It was so much and we were so glad that we did not all get sick last the previous times!!!

Summer, sadly, got another ear infection. She was miserable so I took her to the doctor and I am so glad that I did. He said her eardrum was close to bursting!!! It is wednesday and luckily she is feeling better.

On another nother note....Claudia is reading everything I am typing. She really is smart and so advanced for her age. We shall see how school goes. Hopefully, she is challenged enough.

This is how Arthur's classes go for next semester: organic chemistry, advanced writing, biology, doctrine and covenants, and family foundations.

I will be taking chemistry II, anatomy and physiology II, and microbiology. We shall see how all this goes. Luckily, I will be done with this semester before I am even due which will be great. Arthur is now on fast grad so we are hoping to be back in Texas next December!!!

Things at times are tough, but we make it! We are so blessed by our Heavenly Father! I really do  not know what else to say!

Oh! Arthur got called to be the second counselor in the Elder's Quorum. yay!! It is wonderful to be able to hear him helping people and get his ideas across because I know so many will be blessed by his service!

We finally had neighbors come in beside us....and it is not very fun. :( I introduced myself to the man one day and he was a blank wall. Barely uttered 3 words........and then in church he purposely interrupted me while I was talking to a new couple.....I do not like it, but we will not be living here forever right?

All in all that is what has been going on!! I am soooo sure there is more,but I will just have to remember it then!!! We miss everyone soo much and send our love down to Texas!! But we are doing great up here and do have wonderful friends looking out for us! Heavenly Father knew exactly where we needed to be at this time in our lives and I am lovinig it! :)

It's been a while....

Wow! These weeks really do go buy so fast! I countdown to the end of the week just to have it done, but alas, another one inevitably has come!!!

I do not know if I will post a lot of words here, but I do have pictures I will upload! Which is so much easier now thanks to Arthur's laptop he got for Father's day!! Which btw, was a blast!!! but, it kind of ended on a sour note because everyone started getting the runs..one way or another..except for me. So I was caretaker to all! But luckily, everyone got better fast! yay!

So this was a little while ago...the girls daycare had this thing where they were practicing for weeks disney songs. Each class came up and sang their song. We did record it, but I believe we were only able to get Aeris's. Which Aeris did a great job, but she does not like to sing very loud with people around her. Claudia LOVES to sing, and that is the one where the recording messed up. :( but here is a pic from that night.

So, these next pictures of food and non food items are my shopping trips with the couponing. I do love it, but it is time consuming! For this trip, I paid about 6.00 out of pocket!! Sweet! And, not pictured, are four more bbq sauces. I gave some to friends. :)

Here is pain medicine! Great deal for them! Only ended up paying about 11.00. yay!!

Another good deal! This one happened at Walgreens..which is my go to place for good deals. I can't remember how much this totaled to be, but I do remember that all those deoderants where FREE!!!!

This was a great one too! I just love doing this! This is where I buy most of my actual food items from. Albertsons. We used to have one in Texas, but not anymore. Don't remember how much this was! Sorry! but, I am for sure betting it was under 10.00. easillllllly!

Our cute baby girl! She is serisouly growing up so fast! She looks just like Claudia did when she was little! Then sometimes she will look just like Aeris! You can definitely tell she is related!

The girls hiding on the bottom of the closet. They love spending time with one another! And of course, they are growing fast as well! It amazes me that they are just abled human beings that think on their own and do their own things! Gotta make sure to keep teaching them right!

And we have singing baby here. I know she just loves jamming out to Disney songs. :) All the girls realllly love music. You put it on and they will go to town. I need to get a video of that to show you all. Claudia and Aeris, and Summer are loving Thriller from Michael Jackson. It does not matter where they are at in the home...trust me..they can hear it.

So that's about it for pictures. I know! Why aren't there more? Well, I need to get my pics develped that I have on my sd card because it is almost to capacity! I have over 1,000 pics on it! Yikes! But the weather is getting better here and we are enjoying being able to be outside more! Arthur is doing well in school and so am I..kind of :P It's hard!!! but so worth it!

I constantly miss my family but I know one day we will be home again! We get so excited thinking about being done! Can't wait for dental school and dental hygienist school!

I am continously grateful for all of my wonderful blessings I am so lucky to receive especially my wonderful hubby and family!!!!

BUSY BUSY BUSY

Wow! The times just keeps fluttering away fast! Kind of like the spring weather...hmmmm...but I tell you what...school sure is challenging with three kiddos and everything else:)



The girls are doing wonderful in daycare! They really do love it! Most of the time, Arthur pics them up and at least one of them complains that they want to stay. I am really glad that they are able to have fun there.

School is neat but also time-consuming! My classes are fun but you definitely have to study!! I have to say that I do love my chemistry class most of all. It really helps that Arthur really gets it so he is able to help me understand it all. Plus, I do have a good teacher. Unlike high school......shudder*

I would never use this for the intended purposes but I think it is so neat!!!


This past week had been challenging..also the end of the previous week. Summer had to stay home from daycare two weeks ago. That was tough!! Then this last week, all the girls developed ear infections! Yikes!! They all have been on meds and are still on them. Only a few more days of that though!

Summer is busy walking everywhere!!! She is so adorable! I have to get a video and pics of it!!

Arthur is doing really well in his classes! Yay!!!!

I am busy with church, and school, and kids and all. I am really trying to get this couponing thing down and so far so good! I will have to start taking pics and showing you all what I was able to get! I have a nice little stockpile of things growing now. :)

So, that's all I have time for now...actually, I should be taking a statistics test but hey...it has been awhile!!!

I hope to post again soon because the weather has been looking up lately!!

In the meantime...enjoy these pictures of Summer...don't know why it has been only Summer lately, but hey I need a new memory card because mine is almost full and I havent printed pictures for a full year and a half!!!

Summer really likes to try and get into things that she really shouldn't be in..but hey...this little storage thing she fits in nicely :)
