Spring Break......kind of :P

Wow! So this past week was the nice break that Arthur had off from school and work. Also, Billie (Arthur's mom my mother-in-law) was coming to visit. The weather was turning out nice. The girls were so excited! Everything was just going to be perfect and dandy right?
Wrong....
Wrong....
Wrong....
Wrong....
A couple days before the fun week starts, Arthur comes down with the flu!!! Boo!!!

Well....except for Billie coming and the girls being excited!<---that was the best part. The sickness is alll the boo!!!! Luckily that didn't go away! And we didn't appreciate Billile's visit any less. In fact! It was such a blessing to have her here to take my mind off of everything! We did even celebrate Summer's bday which is tomorrow as I write this! Even though that day was a bit crummy feeling, I think Summer still had a very nice day!

One of Summer's new gifts from Grandma DeJean.

We went and fed the ducks that day too. That was a lot of fun!

Of course then Aeris gets sick, then Claudia gets something, then Summer gets sick, then at the end of the week I get sick. I am not even fully recovered yet. Still having some problems, but definitely better than I was! Arthur still has a cough, but feeling better. The girls are all well too! During that week we also had the change to register Claudia for kindergarten! Yikes!!! So proud of my big girl!!! She had to do one of those assessment things while there to see where she was and she scored a 19/20! yay! She does so well in her reading too! Claudia reads everything she can get her hands on! Of course, she has been doing that for a while so hopefully she can be challenged when she does enter school in a reading program.

Yeah, now  we are into the first week of our Spring semester!

That's right! Arthur and I are both in school now so that means that the girls are in daycare for a little while each day.

First day off to daycare!

School is very exciting and so much fun to! You really apprciate it when you aren't able to just freely go whenever you want. It is a wonderful blessing and privledge to be able to attend BYU-I. Although, I do get the feeling that a lot of people do not feel that way.

Five very important things though that I have learned through this little ordeal(even though at the time it seemed very daunting and like it would never end!)

1.Your family loves you and appreciates anything you can do for them(even if that constititutes holding their hair back when vomiting--gotta love being a mom:)
2.Your family that doesn't live with you loves you always and always ALWAYS thinks of you and wants to help you and yours in any way possible!
3. Heavenly Father heals our worries and our illnesses in due time.
4. Any time spent together with each other is quality time. I don't care if everyone is sick as a dog and just lying in front of the TV watching a movie...you are still sooo lucky to be able to be with one another. And a lot of the times, that it is all it takes to feel better.
5.POOP IS NEVER EVER EVERRRRRRRRR A LAUGHING MATTER!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at my big girls!!!

Summer
So as I continue to move forward in my work here on Earth, I will continue to know that I am very blessed and right where I am supposed to be for I know that if I continue to put my faith and trust in my Heavenly Father, He will not lead me astray. Never. I love my family and I love everything about my life!

Thought this was adorable of Summer to be such a great "mommy" to Claudias zebra.

So much love!!!!

Well....there is a bit of what has been happening! Will try and post more! and lots more pictures to do too!!! With school everything kind of seems like a blur...except the time I spend with my family!
Love ya'll lots!!!

Tuesday, April 5, 2011

So the month of March is gone and April is here...where has the time gone?I mean, seriously??? Here are some pictures as to what we have been doing, but not nearly as much as I should have been taking! I am so bad at charging the camera!!

So, after our anniversary dinner, we had to have another oriental night! Yay! so yummy and so glad Arthur is open to it!

Why the clothes? Because I wanted Arthur to model some of his new clothes I had bought him. Ya know, so he looks older and more sophisticated. :)

I thought this was cute. I asked Arthur to go and stand in front of the door...Oh my literal husband. :)

School will be starting for both of us April 19th! Yikes!!! The girls are super excited about going to daycare for a little while each day. Arthur is working full-time still and boy does that help us out so much! My wonderful husband does so much for our family!!!!
Will do better at getting pictures for this thing!!
But until then...

I love you all and miss you back home!! Today the weather was bleak and it did rain....but a sprinkle. Nothing like rain back home..I do miss Texas thunderstorms.

We were able to watch General Conference here in our apartment and it was so wonderful! Nobody fell asleep! :) Even the girls enjoyed listening as much as they could. They were especially happy when they could see the prophet. It filled our home so greatly with much of the Spirit.
I love this pic that someone drew!

I am very blessed and continue to have diligent faith in everything my family does and what I continue to do. I will keep striving to be more Christ-like and be a better everything!! God bless you all!!!!
