It is always a while before I post. Just be patient with me my peeps. :) I try to get on as much as I can, but it is often difficult with things. And I thought I would have so much free time because I am off track right now:P
So, here's the verdict or new information about Rydia's ear situtation. It turns out Rydia has not gotten another ear infection. Yay! The doctor said it seems that she might have grown out of it. I am very happy because that means we did not make the trip down to Texas without Arthur. This made me so sad to even think about. While we are on the subject of Rydia, I shall give you an update on Rydia. She is doing so well. She has recently turned one, and Arthur and I cannot believe how fast this first year of hers has gone by! It really has flown! She currently has three teeth(she seriously just cut her first top tooth), she is starting to take a few steps by her own. She is a very good baby. She sleeps through the night well and plays with her sisters all the time. She loves to say amen and thank you. The older girls adore baby! There is no jealousy there at all! They always want to know what they can do to help the baby or take care of the baby. When she wakes up in the morning or from a nap, I swear it is a fanfare when they see her. Everyone is like," HI BABY!!!!" It makes my heart happy. :)
Claudia is loving first grade and girl scouts. She has not had any problem with her knee lately, thank goodness. She did complain the other day it hurt, but it wasn't locked like all the others times. She is currently taking Girl Scout Cookie orders and it has been interesting. We are doing our best to sell, but with Arthur's work and school and schedule and the weather lately, it has been difficult. It is our first year, so we are just so proud of her for sticking with it and selling. She continues to excel in school. The teacher says she is sure going to miss Claudia when we leave in seven weeks. Claudia is also always getting the boys' attention at school. Seriously! Yesterday, she told Arthur and me that a boy named Spencer in her class said," Claudia, you are the most beautiful, wonderful girl I have ever met." I mean seriously!? Who says that kind of stuff at that age!!! Me:"Well, Claudia, what did you say?" "Nothing. I just gave him a hug." My oldest.....they are ALL going to be heartbreakers;)
Aeris is growing! It is amazing to think she is so old. I know she is only five, but when she is the second oldest, it is old to us. We are happy to know that when we move in Texas, she will have the opportunity to test for the GT program in kindergarten. She is just way too smart for her own good. She also is wonderful at sports and video games. :) Hey, she's gotta be like us in some ways right?lol She is always asking when we are going to be moving, and I have to count down the days with her.
Summer is well...Summer haha. Summer has always had the worst problem when it comes to sleeping through the night. There will be nights that she does, but most nights she seems to wake up at least once. It does get irritating that my 2 year old wakes up more than my baby. But, we trudge along. She is growing and getting taller and crazier! I really feel like she is our little daredevil. She likes to just go crazy and explore everything. She also likes to have that attitude of a 2 year old.
Arthur has been doing so wonderful with school. He always does well in school, but that is because he takes the time to work hard. Unfortuntely, Arthur has been having trouble with his back. He does have scoliosis which makes it painful at times to do so much. He recently went to the doctor, and I would attach the picture if I knew how, but his back has gotten a bit worse. We are wondering about what to do about it, but really the only thing we can do in the end is surgery. That is a very big thing because your back is delicate! You make one mistake in the operating room and he could be paralyzed. We are looking at that one day. There is a great place that specializes in back surgeries for scoliosis in Texas, so thankfully that is where we are headed one day.
I am doing well. I keep up with everything as best I can and continue to get ready for our move. I cannot believe it is only 7 weeks away! People might think that is a while away, but it really isn't! And this coming week it will be six!!! I am so excited to be going back and all, but there are parts of me that are still a bit scared. I will have to explain that later because I have already written so much!!:)
